Unique Display The display is undoubtedly the most flashy highlight of the Samsung Galaxy S10. It was last year when Samsung had dropped hints about the Infinity-O display, and now the Samsung Galaxy S10 series sports the same. Inside the piercing on the screen, the phone packs the single and dual cameras. The Samsung Galaxy S10 boasts of a 6.1-inch Quad HD+ 19:9 curved Dynamic AMOLED display, whereas the Galaxy S10+ has a screen size of 6.4-inches. The phone also features HDR10+ certification which is a step above the standard HDR. Further, the bezels on the phone are bare minimum on all the sides which adds to the aesthetics. Powerful Performance There is no doubt that Samsung has gone on to great lengths to pack only the best specifications on its phone. The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ come with either the Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 SoC depending on the geography. Both the plus and non-plus variants of the device will be available with 8GB of RAM, and the internal storage option will include 128GB or 512GB of storage option. The S10+ also gets a much more intensively powered variant with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. These phones will also allow memory expansion thanks to a microSD card slot allowing up to 512GB of cards. Further, to enhance the gaming experience on the phone, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S10 with Vapor Chamber cooling, Unity Engine optimisation and Dolby Atmos support. Triple Camera Setup The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ both sport the triple rear camera setup which consists of a 12MP primary sensor with a dual aperture of f/1.5 or f/2.4 which can be changed depending on the lighting of the scene. Accompanying the primary sensor is a 12MP telephoto lens, and lastly, there is an ultra-wide 16MP fixed-focus sensor. The two 12MP sensors also come enabled with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to allow users to shoot shake-free images and videos. The camera on the device also offers 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. Apart from this, the phone can detect up to 30 scenes and comes with features like SuperSteady video and Scene Optimiser. As for the front shooter, the Galaxy S10+ sports a 10MP f/1.9 sensor paired with an 8MP RGB depth sensor. Whereas, the Galaxy S10 just comes with the 10MP sensor and no depth sensor. Under the Display Fingerprint Sensor For the first time, Samsung has introduced the under-display fingerprint sensor. In the past, Samsung has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism for the placement of the fingerprint sensor. However, with the new technology in hand, finally, the company has placed it under the screen. The sensor is also ultrasonic meaning that it will be fast and precise. New One UI on Top of Android 9 Pie Samsung users, in the past, have been troubled by the lagging Experience UI as the phone ages. However, it seems that the brand has finally found a way around those issues by introducing an all-new One UI. The new One UI by Samsung is based on Android Pie, and is much cleaner, brings Android 9 Pie goodies and the awaited Dark Mode to get the best Dynamic AMOLED display. Battery and PowerShare The battery capacity of both the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ is massive as they pack 3,400mAh and 4,100mAh units respectively. However, the few other quirks which Samsung has equipped in these phones make all the difference for the flagships. There is a new feature termed as PowerShare which will allow the phones to charge via another Galaxy S10 wirelessly. Further, the phones come equipped with fast charging enabled on both wired and wireless setup. The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ both come with the IP68 rating as well, and there is no doubt that the phones are a beast of a device. The pre-booking for the phones start today on Flipkart although there is no information about when the device will be available in the country. In the US, the phone goes for sale in March.
