Realme X2 Pro: Specifications Detailed The Realme X2 Pro is the company’s first flagship smartphone and it’s powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The specifications and design of the X2 Pro are pretty much identical to the Oppo Reno Ace that was announced just last week. The Realme X2 Pro features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Realme is calling the display technology as Fluid AMOLED because of the 90Hz refresh rate. Again, the Fluid AMOLED name sounds familiar as OnePlus is calling the same. After all, both OnePlus and Realme are coming from a single parent company- BBK Electronics. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Underneath, the phone has the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It has UFS 3.0 storage which is a good thing to see on a budget flagship phone. The phone comes in three different variants- 6GB+64GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The Realme X2 Pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner and it retains the 3.5mm headphone jack too. As for the cameras, the X2 Pro has a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 13MP sensor with a telephoto lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For a flagship smartphone, this setup seems decent and it’s a slightly different one compared to the likes of Realme X2 and Realme XT smartphones. On the front, the X2 Pro has the 16MP Sony IMX471 shooter. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The phone weighs 199 grams and it has a 4000mAh battery. Unlike the Oppo Reno Ace which packs 65W VOOC Charging, the Realme X2 Pro offers 50W SuperVOOC fast charging. Realme X2 Pro: Pricing Detailed In China, the Realme X2 Pro comes in three variants- 6GB+64GB priced at 2699 Yuan (approx. Rs 27,200), 8GB+128GB variant priced at 2899 Yuan (approx. Rs 29,200), and lastly, the premium 12GB+256GB storage variant priced at 3299 Yuan (approx. Rs 33, 200). Notably, Realme is calling the 12GB+256GB variant of the Realme X2 Pro as Master Edition. Realme X2 Pro: How it Compares to the Redmi K20 Pro Exclusive Edition? The Realme X2 Pro is a decent flagship smartphone for the hardware and specs it has. It takes on the Redmi K20 Pro Exclusive Edition that was launched in China just a few days ago. The K20 Pro Exclusive Edition has the latest Snapdragon 855+ chipset and comes in a 12GB+256GB variant as well. But when compared to the Realme X2 Pro, it lacks the 90Hz display, 64MP rear-facing camera and a 50W SuperVOOC charging technology. These differences make the Realme X2 Pro a winner, but the K20 Pro Exclusive Edition offers full-screen design with the pop-up selfie camera, better-looking design than the Realme X2 Pro and the camera setup is versatile as well. The Realme X2 Pro is launching in India this December and maybe Xiaomi will also bring the K20 Pro Exclusive Edition to the Asian sub-continent by the end of this year to tackle the X2 Pro.
