We request all distribution platform operators (DPOs) to ensure compliance with the new regulatory framework in letter and spirit.” The official also added that currently it is being discussed which companies would face audit of systems. The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is operated by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and is utilised for real-time payments between peers or at the point of sale by businesses.
