Oppo Reno 2: Confirmed Specifications and Features The Oppo Reno 2 will feature quad cameras on the rear side and it may possibly have a 48MP sensor as well. As noted, the upcoming Reno 2 will be a direct successor to the Oppo Reno that was launched in India for Rs 32,990 and it had the Snapdragon 710 chipset on board. The Reno 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G chipset which we earlier saw on the Samsung Galaxy A80 smartphone, priced at Rs 47,990. The Reno 2 may not be priced over Rs 35,000 considering the price of its predecessor. The official teasers of Oppo Reno 2 also confirmed that the handset would have a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display on the front, along with Panoramic notch-less screen. The Reno 2 will arrive in an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage model, like its predecessor. The Oppo Reno arrived in a single variant, so the same case might apply to the upcoming Reno 2 as well. The phone will most likely provide an in-display fingerprint scanner, thanks to the AMOLED panel on the smartphone. Furthermore, there will be a 4000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 support via USB Type-C port. Oppo Reno 2 to Offer Ultra Dark Mode The Oppo Reno 2 will be another quad-camera phone from the house of BBK Electronics, after the likes of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. However, the Reno 2, being an upper mid-range smartphone will offer several new features which we did not get to see on the Realme 5 series. The upcoming smartphone from Oppo will have quad cameras on the back with the primary sensor expected to be the 48MP Sony IMX586 one. The Oppo Reno offered just dual cameras on the back, but the Reno 2 will have four cameras on the back. Another feature which will steal the limelight is the 20X Hybrid Zoom functionality. Yes, Oppo has officially confirmed that the Reno 2 will provide 20X Hybrid Zoom feature and 5X Optical Zoom feature. The teasers from Oppo and Flipkart also reveal the handset will come with Ultra Dark Mode for excellent low-light images. Also, the Bokeh Mode will get a boost thanks to the presence of dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). As for the software, the Reno 2 will run Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box and there will be new gaming features on the handset. The pricing and availability details of Oppo Reno 2 are unknown at the moment, but they are expected to come out on the launch day.
